" IN STILLNESS AND SIMPLICITY"

Another amazing day with the weather being very warm.  Mr A spent the whole day cutting the grass out on the front verges and back lawns.  We have a lot of trouble with people allowing their dogs to defecate on our frontage without removing it.  So today he posted a new sign which was rather blunt.  I'm hoping it has desired effect.

We waited in all day for a delivery which was due this morning, but delayed until 17.50.  Phoebe was very patient and enjoyed her time on the beach.  The photo shows how far the tide has gone out and the size of the beach.  The other photo captures the peculiar effect of the water going out from the river across the beach.

I don't think the weather will be kind to us tomorrow which will be a nuisance as I want to start painting the fence panels.

We have seen numerous new families walk past on their way to the beach to enjoy the start of their  holiday.   I hope they have good weather this week.  It must be hard to drive for over 8 hours, which explains their jubilation and eagerness to enjoy the freedom of the sandy beach and ocean.
