Fringes

Bit of a lie in after late night, then decided to take a wander round the Fringe venues. Just before I set off there was all sorts of noise outside....police restraining a man who'd been shouting and staggering and fighting some demons only he could see in the middle if the road for quite a while. His friend had been trying to get him calmed down unsuccessfully for ages beforehand but it ended with 4 policemen all on top of him, handcuffs and straps round his legs. Not sure being arrested will do him any good....
Started at Summerhall, although the cafe was very disappointing brunch wise, and picked up their brochure and then explored George Sq gardens. Tried a few places for brunch but not much luck-ended up at Olly Bongo's of all places but the sun was out by then and I sat in the open window reading the various programmes -very nice!
Home and did domestic stuff and reading til collected S from the station. We decided to grab a show so went to a one woman show....sort of Little Voice style.
May go back to visit the Thermos museum....sounds appropriately bonkers and fringe like!
