England's green and pleasant land.

Another beautiful summers day. We have had wall to wall sunshine and temperatures up to 27c.
The photo was taken from the car, as we drove down to see our friend K. in Somerset .
It was lovely to see her looking so well, as it is only a few weeks since we were down there for her husband's funeral.
Unfortunately we couldn't stay long as C had organised an evening meal for us all at the local Italian restaurant.
It was a 200mile round trip, but we were glad we did it. Just to let her know we were thinking about her.
