We have Broadband!

It's only taken 6 weeks of fighting with Sky and BT, each blaming the other and trying to get them to talk to each other but finally, thanks to a very helpful, persistent and now knackered BT engineer, (he had a 4 hour conversation with Sky yesterday afternoon) we are back in touch with the world!

I have a gazillion emails to check, online food shop to order and a load of messages on FB but first things first....BLIP!

So, today's blip is my hall as the painters set about the last task of the job. The good news is the extremely high up bit is painted and neither painter was killed in the process. They will DEFINITELY be finished on Monday. The IT guys have left and we now have ceiling speakers in almost every room so we can listen out for Alan if he's in another room and a camera in his room so we can check he's ok without disturbing him. We can also listen to music through the speakers and all the tv's are linked and it can all be controlled from our iPhones or iPad. Alan will also be able to control it all from his eye gaze computer. Brilliant stuff!

So, we can now begin the process of turning this place properly into our home.

PS Forgot to mention I got 88% for my OU CMA...got to get my finger out and get working on my photos for the ECA!

PPS. Things still not 100% with broadband! Honestly, this is driving me nuts!!!!
