Crossing the border...

Ventured across to the tops to Preston this afternoon, to visit a friend in hospital. Happily he is improving, but will probably still need an operation.
Blipped on the way back - the main shot is Leesbrook Mill - Grade II listed, built in 1884, and a typical textile mill of the time. The "locals' pub" on the left ( The Friendship Inn ) was still open until fairly recently.
The extra is the route up to Black Hill, on the Pennine Way.
