Sunflower Saturday

One or two of you asked if I'd blip my sunflowers, which I said a few days ago were coming out.  They're all in large pots crowded round my conservatory doors, though next year I think I'll grow them in other places.

This variety is Helios Flame.  They are only about 6'/2m high and have red-brown streaks on the petals, which give them their name.  I am a fan.  So are the bees, particularly the biggest bumbles.

We've had a really glorious day here, definitely sunflower weather, and there's Mahler's 9th Symphony broadcast from the Proms tonight, so I'm a happy bunny.  Are you?  I hope so.
