High Cup Nick

High Cup Nick is a classic U-shaped glaciated valley, high on the western flanks of the North Pennines.

We followed The Pennine Way ( which we walked 38 years ago! ) from Dufton.The weather was really good for one of the grandest walks in Northern England. ( 4 hour round trip )

It is worth googling 'High Cup Nick' to get more of a sense of how special this place is!

The views of The Lake District on the return walk to Dufton are just amazing!
