Guide Me Home
South stack lighthouse on Anglesey. If you look very carefully you can see the Wicklow mountains of Ireland in the distance. We cycled to Holyhead, South Stack, Trearddur and a few other places today, in the bright sunshine and wind. Very bracing!
The lighthouse was established in 1809 and cost £12,000. Rather a lot of money then.
I'm amazed. For some reason my iPad is allowing me to do an extra today so it is the rusting chains of the old suspension bridge spanning from the rock where the lighthouse is across to the mainland.
