More progress on the "estate" today.  

When we moved in there was a good sized patio, but when we had the garden room built we lost most of that.  The remaining bit was small and felt cramped.

Today, our neighbour and his son, ably supervised by W, have altered the dividing fence, taking a triangle away from the front yard, and adding it to the patio.  We won't pave it, just leave it gravelled for pots.  But it feels much more spacious.
