Horn Auditions

Doing horn auditions today. You ask any musician, and they'll all say that doing an audition is the worst, most stressful part of playing. Much worse than doing a concert. These guys at least have a piano to play with them to start before they have to play some orchestral excerpts on their own to us.
I'm on the panel which is less stressful but still exhausting willing each candidate to do well.
