Civilization means food and literature all around

I went to Cafe Paludan, a famous bookstore/cafe, to get my last signature Danish dish. Not only is it a smorrebord (open faced sandwich), it is an Stjerneskud (over-the-top/shooting star) sandwich. It looks a little crazy but underneath all the is a slice of Denmark's signature rye bread. On top of it is 3 different kinds of fish cooked different ways, shrimp, and all kind of other toppings. My favorite part of it is actually the mayo/egg sauce they have. It's like if you took tartar sauce and smooshed egg into it.
