Sayonara

Always sad when colleagues move on, and this week I said goodbye to someone who was both a friend and a colleague. Clearly she felt the same, as she sent me this lovely plant with a thoughtful card.

Days like this, being an Expat is tough, but it does mean that I've now another friend to visit in the UK!

In the meantime all I have to do it keep this lovely specimen alive. According to the florist it's an easy plant to care for... I seem to do best with plants that thrive on neglect!!
