Silence

Today we walked round the An Aird Peninsula. After a mainly dry morning the inevitable rain caught up with us again. Some campers on the route down to the beach tried in vain to light a fire all stood round trying to keep the driving rain off their precious tinder. Arriving on the beach the rain began to let up and the stillness, calm and silence of the place was quite incredible. The sea was still, the air calm and silence. Quite remarkable really in our so often noisy world. Perhaps a little bit of walking in paradise!
