Straight rows
My job once the silage is ready for baling is to use the massey and hay bob to make rows in "straight" lines for the baler to pick up. Only the fields aren't straight and have Islands of rocks to be avoided and this year I also have to avoid the wet muddy holes. Therefore the end riggs which are the outside rows are always wiggley and this one is more so as I had a huge wet hole to avoid! This is the baler baling the end riggs whilst I wait to go back and put in some nice straight lines!
On the tractor all day today. It was the local show today but we had to make hay whilst the sun shone as the saying goes. A shame not to go but dry days are like hens teeth just now. Got everything that was cut at the farm where we manage the livestock baled and wrapped today which is great. Still got about as much again to do but it hasn't been mowed yet. And of course our own.
15c 5mph SE heavy rain shower at 6am then sunshine all day.
