Lo-tech

My favourite gadgets are not electrical and have been around for years. Like this one, the brilliant egg slicer which when used first length-ways then width-ways produces excellent size egg bits for a good, chunky egg mayonnaise. I connected Zen-like with the art of egg mayo making this morning. That's what mornings are for. Just being with music, nature, and a good sandwich filling.

Very odd in the house tonight. All chicks have flown the nest. One in Canada, one in France and one in ... Chiddingfold.  House fells spookily empty ...

Might need to get some more cats.
