A birthday and a goodbye

Sammy's 3rd birthday! What a star! He was so excited this morning. He ran downstairs and immediately started popping balloons and asking for cake. He loved opening cards and presents and spent the rest of the day glued to Auntie Lydie's, uncle Danny's and Asha's present of an electric guitar, mic and amp. It even went to bed with him.
I left at 3 to go to my friend's leaving do in Birmingham as she is returning to Dubai for another year. Lots of prosecco and chats, great night!
