The Hobby

I know I promised you balloons butthings never go to plan in my life?
  I live East of the fiesta site and the balloons went South.Both this morning and this Evening.So we will have to see what happens tomorrow.
   I the mean time While on my travels I stopped for a walk in a local meadow.Suddenly there is a screaching cry and four birds dash out of a hedge @ high speed.Two kept going but the other two perched nearby.I managred to get 6 or so shots of what I thought was a Sparrow Hawk or Kestral.But consulting the manual I was surprised to identify it as a Hobby!
  I have never seen one of these in all my 68 years .
Another first then! Doing well this year for firsts.
  It turns out that the parents were hunting for food to feed the four chicks! And the youngsters took chase after them?  lol
  As you can see.It let me get quite close? After I gave it a good talking to that is.People must have thought me MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
