Canada Geese?

My wife and I went for a walk on the coastal footpath at Limperts Bay, Gileston, Vale of Glamorgan. Several times I said to my wife "I am sure I can hear Geese". We carried on walking for a while longer, then suddenly there were three skeins of about 18 geese each approaching us fast across the Bristol Channel.  I tried to unzip my camera bag and fit a lens to the camera, but by the time I had got myself set up, they were out of range. My wife had her little camera in her handbag and managed to get one snap which I have used for my blip.  In future I will adhere to the Boy Scouts motto  which is BE PREPARED!
