Astrantia
A fine day including gorgeous blue skies and there is an increasing number of delightful blooms in the garden.
Many of the plants come from the time before we built the house and this season is the first they have had the space and attention to show us what they can do. The astrantias are coming through strongly, the geraniums are strangling everything around and the alstromeria are a glorious surprise. Re-design work will be necessary but that's OK.
There is one plant I carefully dug up and planted underneath a wild rose hedge. It turned out to be a weed. Oh well.
Exciting weekend ahead.
