Baby jail - and the jailer

Phew. We survived! Another 4 am start with James awake, then Thomas told us the sun was up at 5.15.

After taking him to nursery we went into town on the metro as I needed a present for #3 daughter's birthday, and then we went to the Apple shop to get an iPad mini. I've decided to give her my IPad as I would prefer something smaller and lighter for our travels, when we are only allowed 15kg. It took ages, but Mr C heroically entertained James by teaching him the swipe action in the kids' section of the shop. James hates being in the pushchair and just wants to be crawling around. The Apple Shop was not a good place for crawling babies - yanking the cables under the benches set off the theft alarms.

Thankfully the Paris plane arrived on schedule so we took James to meet them from the metro, then they picked up Thomas from nursery - and we came home. Hooray.
