The Kindness of Strangers

We went on a beautiful hike yesterday on the Italianos trail near the ski valley with our friend Cheryl.  Somewhere along the way I lost my sunglasses.  I bent over numerous times to pick up little Alice the dog to carry her across a stream, and my sunglasses were tucked in the front of my shirt.  I didn't realize I had lost them until a couple of miles in.  On the way back, they had been placed on a rock which would have been impossible to miss.  I didn't get to thank the kind person who found them and made them easy for me to find again!
