I've got a beautiful feeling........

A beautiful, crisp, clear day today, and the sun is shining on our friends across the water. Uabhasach mhath, Obama! (Here, that rhymes -- oo-ah-va-sach ma, O-bam-a!)

It was strange, but encouraging, how the kids were discussing it today, and saying what a great thing this was. An American friend of mine said that it would be wonderful to at last NOT be ashamed of her President....

I'm off in a couple of minutes to sing at the old folks' home - and hoping they don't keep me in.
