Sand, sea, surf and sky.

J wanted to go to the model shop in Porthcawl this morning, so i walked to Coney Beach , and walked right to the waters edge. I was wearing a light jacket, and for the first time this year, I was too hot. It looks as if there was no one on the beach, but actually, it was quite busy, and more people were arriving by the minute. You can't  blame people, making the most of the  beautiful weather today.  I met J back at the car, and we then went grocery shopping. There is a new Asda opened in Pyle, so as that was on our way back we did the food shop there. I made a real booby  at the checkout. We had bought, or so I thought, an iceberg lettuce, but as it went through the scanner, I saw white cabbage. I whispered to J, and he said to the assistant, that was supposed to be a lettuce. She laughed, and said someone else did that last week. Do you want me to take it off, so we did. I bet she went and told all her friends, and I expect they will have a good laugh at my expense. Back home now, and we are having a BBQ later .Our  daughter, SIL, and g/daughter  are coming , so that should be fun. Hope you all have a good weekend.
