Brrrr

Driving home from Nelson today was a bit cool.  

The snow was deeper coming up the other side of the Hope Saddle but I wasn't planning to stop without chains on - and there isn't really anywhere to stop on the hairpin bends on that side anyway.

I pulled over at the top but was only in my shirtsleeves and my only jacket (a light one) was in the boot.  So all I took was the view through my windscreen - the blurs are the snow settling on it.

Not much ice or grit to be seen but plenty of snow!
