We Are Going to be Grandparents!

We opened up the bluebird house today to check that things were in order. Imagine our delight when we saw this!

I have put out some mealworms in a dish for the proud parents, but somehow they don't seem to notice and the worms die in the hot sun. I'll keep trying.

My suspicion that this is our bluebird's second nest of the season seems to be confirmed by the presence of (at least) two juvenile birds that have been hanging around the nest box lately looking for food, playing loud music and refusing to put down their phones.
