In the zone

I took this image at a Triathlon competition, this sunday is the Scottish Sprint Triathlon at Lochore Meadows in Fife.
I spent many a day at lochore meadown with my Grandad and Aunty Betty when I was younger. Good memories of walking, fishing and pic-nics.
This image is in my sports portfolio. I like to capture the action, but I also like to capture the athletes before the start, you get a story from the images that I take.

I remember doing my first triathlon in 1990, I was the first one in the pool, I was so pathetic then, swimming away. What I remember most was the life guard telling me when I finish my 800m swim, 'could you please turn the lights off when you exit the pool'. I was the first one in the pool, and last to leave!! Happy days....
