Me, my wood splitter (and the cat)

Today we got going with splitting some logs ready for storage and the winter.  I love this splitter...a big log just breaks in two as if it were made of butter.  Considering that we have a lot of wood to get through this could be a regular job, but such an easy one.

We have to take our little cat, Mittz to the vet tomorrow morning to have her sides shaved by the vet as she has got herself really knotted up somehow and I can't cut out the lumps of fur close enough to the skin. We have to starve her from 7.30pm and not let her out tonight.  She is not going to be happy!!!!.
