Hot hiking
We knew we had to get up higher to reach lower temperatures, so we went up to the Hirzli. Our promised amazing view was viewed very briefly - a LOT of insects had chosen the peak as their favourited place to be and we fled very quickly! This was the most insect-free picture I took up there. No shadeup there anyway, we lunched in the shadow of a tree and realized how much sweating cools you down actually!
We had shortened today's hike to not have Djeili struggling too much in the heat. She jumped into every basin, well, stream etc. that she could find (see extra). But she didn't jump into the one that had a sign: Not for dog swimming purposes. Clever dog!
Back home I checked the terrace thermometer: 35°C.
PS: Changed yesterday's blip, sorry! Just preferred the other pic very much.
