Pain Management & Physiotherapy
Today I went to the H Centre in Oxford to see Steph my physio (main picture) she pulled & pushed & manipulated my hip but unfortunately nothing worked straight away. She has now revised my exercises which I will have to do as often as I can & in the mean time I have signed up for some Hydrotherapy at the Nuffield. Back to see her again in September.
I asked to see Dr Nicki (extra shot) who kindly prescribed some stronger painkillers that won't have side effects as the others have. If they work it should mean I can get around better. At the moment I am completely stuffed & can't walk without severe pain. She has also attempted to hurry the MRI & has now referred me to the hip surgeon.
I drove to Oxford today as I hadn't driven in a while, C drove home.
A fine sunny day.
Thanks for all the comments yesterday - much appreciated.

We should also remember that on this day in 1945 the 1st atomic bomb was used in anger on the city of Hiroshima. Following a further detonation on the 9 August on Nagasaki, Japan formally surrendered to the USA on 2 September on board the USS Missouri.....
