Fuzzy

Fuzzy head today as a result of double dosing antihistamines for the past few days. Allergic reaction to mosquito bites makes for itchy, inflamed, swollen, uncomfortable ankles and feeling a little under par.

Worked from home today after cancelling a day's leave due to too much going on. Met Jules at lunchtime for coffee at the village tea rooms for a catch up before counting the money raised for fly2help at the steam rally. Missed out on flying with Jules Friday as I can't get away to gliding camp as originally planned. Feeling quite disappointed but just one of those things.

Officially on leave tomorrow but looks like I'll be emailing a bit as so much is going on with new projects. A ton of laundry awaits me and commentary prep for the weekend before packing a bag and heading over to Sandown Park with mum for evening racing courtesy of my new client.

Looking forward to staying at mum and dad's tomorrow night and a catch up Friday morning. Feel quite worn out and a little bit rejected after hearing my short story entry didn't make the Eve Appeal book after all. Time for me to give up on chasing silly ideas perhaps. Feel much the same about romance too.
