Birthday!!

It was my mum's birthday today, we spent much of it happily sat by the pool with champagne, piña coladas, beer and vegetable samosas. First off though she had to be kissed by the entire hotel senior management team, I think it was for buying champagne - they brought us a nice bit of cake and candles too.

The birthday evening ended up a quieter affair, possibly due to the exhausting day. Plus it has rained a lot in the last 24 hours. It never gets cold but our patience is wearing thin.

Tomorrow Hannah and I plan to venture forth to the market where we will mentally convert money into something that makes sense and haggle all in straightforward, easy transactions. Fact.
