ADDER

Tony took me on another bike ride through the Great Yorkshire Forest at Dalby today. After a riding layoff 26 miles was a long way for me and I am shattered !

Prize moment of the day was coming across this Adder taking in the Sun. As it is the only poisonous snake in the UK we approached carefully – especially as I had nearly run it over !

He hissed a bit and made for the shade – I was sad to have disturbed his day. Put another shot as an extra.

Away again for a few days tomorrow so no Blips for a week – and I hope to catch up with you all on my return.
