Westfield Road

Its grim out west. Every time I trek through EH11, I'm reminded of recent survey that listed EH11 as a Top Ten sought after post code in Scotland. (Mind you the same survey also listed good ole Granton in EH5 up there on the same list, so....) And so it was as I waded through the dregs of Gorgie this morning. (Yes, dear reader, you are correct, I got shouted at a couple of times today and my write up of Gorgie will suffer accordingly...)

Actually, I had an enjoyable morning, pottering about, revisiting the bridge, and my old place of work, the park and of course Bain's for pies.

Two for you lucky lucky viewers today. They look like they were done at different times; the vertical one looks more late '14 and the higher up one is more typical of 2013. All single underlined and triple striped.

The 38 came along seconds after I took this shot; I couldn't work out if it was the late running 1032 service or the really late running 1012 service. That's the kinda bus the 38 is....
