Each step is a little nearer the finish beach

They walked an extra five miles yesterday to shorten the 23 mile stint today.  We left them near Catterick Bridge and, so far, it has been a perfect day for walking.
Some time later we were just leaving the Churchyard at Bolton on Swale when they popped out from behind a yew tree cameras in hand!  Wainwright's guide had a reference to a memorial in this Church that we thought we would like to see.  The monument was erected by contribution in 1743 to the memory of Henry Jenkins who was buried there in 1670.  He was the grand old age of 169 when he died! The walkers have met other "Coasters" from all over the world and have been impressed by their "educational sightseeing" trip as much as the scenery.  Their wives and children have moved camp to Pickering today ready for the lads final stage on Saturday (all being well).
