Aren't Grandads brilliant!

We have had this shovel in the house for too long to remember.

Alice's Grandad made it in about 1763 out of folded and welded stainless steel. Last week Alice managed to snap the handle off of it whilst cleaning out her rabbit hutch.

It came back today from Grandads with a new handle and a rather fetching lick of paint and colourful hand grip.
