Hanging out

On my way to work this morning I spotted this heron. I pulled off a side road, parked the car, grabbed my camera, and walked up the hill to the bridge.  I started snapping photos when I realized there was a message on the screen saying there was no card. I had forgotten to put the memory card back into the camera. So I turned around and went back to the car, grabbed my phone, and walked back to the bridge, hoping the heron was still there.  It was, and by the time I got there, this group of ducks and come into view also. So it's not a closeup, but there is the added bonus of a nice reflection in the creek.

It was a lovely day - sunny, warm, breezy.
