Cafe Anglais

It has become a tradition to mark the end of the school year with lunch for the Jackson and Cooper ladies at Cafe Anglais.

I had planned to photograph the cottage pie and baked beans, the shepherds pie and mushy peas, the chicken and mushroom pasty and mashed potatoes and the quiche. Of course once the food arrived I forgot and started scarfing it down.

So here we have my half drunk cup of tea and some baked bean juice and Linda's leftover mushy peas.

Only in America would you get an english cafe with a french name!
