A busy day, but stress free.

Virgin East Coast got me to Newcastle on time and in comfort.

I had a short meeting on arrival, and then off to my hotel in the 'burbs. (On past experience, Newcastle city centre is quite noisy at night.) 15 minutes away on the Metro.

Back into the city in the evening for drinks and dinner with the chairman and secretary general. All very relaxed.

The Blip is my home from home tonight. The Novotel. I've always been a sucker for the Accor brands...
