Golden corn

My granddaughter was very interested in the corn field across the road near the village playground. She picked a few "ears" and then used my pestle and mortar to try and grind the corn to make flour!
A big Sunday lunch has been enjoyed together and a little later on the family headed back to London. We have all had a lovely weekend!
