Land of the giants

Today was going very well when I took this picture of a giant thistle. It came unstuck shortly thereafter. I had a £1 voucher for a shop to use up so I thought I'd get some almonds (good for my LDL and blood pressure), they even had a deal on, but the woman on the till had a horrible time and it took nearly 20 minutes to pay, so I was late at the pool and only managed 750 m instead of the normal 1 km.
