Dripping blip

Took the opportunity of strimming the edges before the next deluge, but then late afternoon continual rain resulted in this paeony, previously resting its blooms on the wall, losing its petals like tears into the pond below. It is not the only one to feel sadness, with the continuing cold and unfavourable conditions wreaking havoc after a lot of hard work. Meanwhile the tomatoes are thriving in the relative shelter, if not warmth, of the polytunnel.
