Art Deco Bunker

I always considered bunkers to be block shaped massive structures - and most are - so I was kind of surprised to spot this Art Deco sculpted specimen in the dunes of Scheveningen.

It's part of the Atlantic Wall that the Germans built in the second World War and stretches from the most Northern point of Norway to Biarritz next to the Basque Spanish border in the most Southern part of France.

There is currently an exposition about 70 years Atlantic Wall in The Hague as it was a quite huge barrier here and I intend to visit it really soon.

Here's more wiki about the Atlantic Wall
