MonoMonday: Electric

This may not be particularly inspired but within inches of my laptop computer are second screen, printer, headphones, speakers, table and wall lamps, microphone, cordless phone, mobile and charger, voice recorder, modem, Barclays bank card reader and Cooperative band token, electric fire, CD player (no amplifier alas) and a very long power protection adapter block. 

What would we do without electricity mains and battery power!
