Clearing The Undergrowth

Today, with the help of my grandchildren, between us we cleared this wall, which was covered in Ivy. We cleared the other side and then pushed the Ivy and the honeysuckle over the wall and into the garden. That way we could remove the Ivy, without damaging the Honeysuckle and then reposition the Honeysuckle against the wall. There is a rather a lot of Ivy in the garden and the battle is never won, but this wall looked considerable better when we had finished.

It has been warm, but overcast today, which made working in the garden quite pleasant. Victoria found a small frog, Gerald, in the pond, which I was going to blip, but it has been damaged, one front leg is missing so it did not make a good picture.

Today’s extra picture is part of the other side of this boundary wall.
