Grandchildren

Today, I should have been working on the garden with Mrs GOG and our grandchildren.  However, while drying my feet after my morning shower, I trapped a nerve in my back, almost paralysing my left leg and hurting like the Devil.  I went back to bed and did not get up until after 1300 hours.  Once I did get up, able to move about gently, but not able to do very much, Oliver, my grandson asked me about surveying an area such as our garden.  I briefly dug out some old survey equipment and outlined how it would be used.  While I was telling him how to hold the staff, gently rocking it backwards and forwards, to ensure that the maximum reading was taken, Mrs GOG took this picture, with Victoria looking on, which I decided to use as a blip. Since he showed an interest, I agreed that weather permitting I would actually let him use it tomorrow and make some actual measurements.
