Thank goodness for an empty nest

According to my mentor/fellow blipper Chrisphoto, yesterday's village lock-down was caused by someone finding a WWII bomb at the home of his father who died last week aged 91.  It caused chaos for most of the day but was safely detonated in a local field.

I was going to blip a flying ant that I found floating in the bird bath (RIP), but it (the bird bath) is in such a disgusting state I couldn't possibly air it publicly.  Instead you have an abandoned wasps nest, which is incredibly delicate but beautifully made.  How on earth they know what to do is utterly mind-boggling and amazing.
