Tiny Tuesday:  Spider

Apologies to those of you of a nervous disposition, or who just hate spiders.  For some reason spiders make most of us uncomfortable.  Perhaps it has something to do with the 8 legs.  Somehow 8 legs seems to be even more alien than the insects with their 6... 

If its of any help to you, the spider is not large, not more than 1cm across from tip of front leg to tip of back  leg.  But it is surprisingly hairy when you see it close up.

The extra is a tiny little flower from the abelia shrub at the bottom of our garden.
