Golden Lion Tamarind

This rather intense little fellow was one of my companions on the Rain forest floor at London Zoo this evening.

I felt very privileged to see these animals up so close, but also glad I had a keeper with me in case they decided to nip.

I was down there to photograph Peter Salmon, Chief Creative officer, BBC Vision Productions; Neil Nightingale, Head of the BBC Natural History Unit and Bernard Mercer, Chairman of the BBC Wildlife Fund.

None of these men had anticipated how hot it would be down there and were stripping off before I could say "Marmoset". At least they didn't turn the sprinklers on.
