Towards The Cuillin Hills

And a walk at the Fairy Pools. Much busier here than we anticipated with the car park full and cars all along the side of the road. Parked at the bottom of the valley and set off in the warm sunshine. Explored the icy clear pools impressed by those who had decided to take a dip. As we reached the end of the pools the clouds began to descend and a light drizzle soon turned into heavy rain. We could see how bad the weather had been here as we navigated the path round the base of the mountain many excursions off the path had been taken but all in vain as everywhere was as wet and boggy as the path we were trying to avoid. The track leading away from the mountain was a little better and son the car was in sight and the promise of hot chocolate!
