Rusty Birds and a Hummer

This little rufous hummingbird rested on my rusty birds, which was exactly what I had hoped. I bought several metal birds on a steel rods and placed them on my fence above the hummer's favorite flowers. I found them at an art sale and since they are at the beach, I figured it would be good to start out with the rust because they would get rusty soon enough.

Another lovely day with cooler weather. We enjoyed a wonderful 14th birthday dinner with our youngest granddaughter. It is difficult to believe our "grandbabies" have grown up so quickly.
